Item & Subject-Matter: Vintage ca 1968 George Crionas (listed artist) “Track Bum” limited edition, pencil-signed, titled & numbered #162/300 clown/bum/hobo & horse racing-themed lithographic print from an original watercolor painting entitled. Print is framed-under-glass, with frame and matting beautifully complementing the print.
***Attention to detail is exceptional, with imagery depicting: A “gentleman” clown at the horse race track reading the Santa Anita Raceway Daily Racing Form. He is dandily smoking a cigarette in a cigarette holder. In the background is a jockey astride a racehorse, the grandstands bleachers, and a waving track flag. Within a bubble caption above his head appears three (3) Santa Anita Racing ‘Win’ betting tickets stubs. Each ticket is dated “April 4, 1968".
